About us
The vision of B Academics is to advance the academic study, teaching and practice of “business as a force for good,” ensuring this approach is embedded in every academic institution and empowers future impact leaders to build ethical, inclusive and resilient ventures.
B Academics supports systems level change, where education embraces and advances the principles of social and environmental impact across curriculum, research, and practice. We achieve this through a collaborative global network of educators, researchers, students and industry professionals working together to study and advance B Corps and benefit corporations.
Strategic Priorities
Pillar #1: Community Engagement
We will strengthen and expand the global community of academics, students, practitioners, and other collaborators connected in purpose to develop a new generation of entrepreneurs and professionals who support business as a force for good.
Pillar #2: Research Advancement
We will advance and disseminate research about how people, organizations, and institutions enable and constrain sustainable change across economic and societal systems to inform better business practices and outcomes.
Pillar #3: Teaching & Learning
We will facilitate the creation and exchange of teaching tools and curriculum support around business as a force for good to ensure teaching reflects the ever-changing nature of the field and solidifies the area of study within higher education.
Pillar #4: Financial Sustainability & Organizational Capacity
We will secure diversified, robust, aligned, ongoing funding that allows us to build resilient organizational capacity and scale strategic priorities.
