About the B Academics Roundtable
The annual B Academics Roundtable brings together this community to share best practices in teaching, research and engagement. The Roundtable returns to an in person event, with an option to participate virtually. Join us on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, USA for a day-long conversation focused on “Humanity at Work in Academia: Informing the Future of Business for Good.”
The 2022 B Academics Roundtable is open to researchers, educators and students interested in Certified B Corps and/or Benefit Corporations as well as representatives from B Corps. The B Academics Roundtable will be held in parallel with the B Corp Champions Retreat, which will take place on Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1, 2022. This year the Roundtable merges research and teaching purposes.

Call for Research Abstracts and Teaching Submissions
To reflect the strong mission and the positive change created in their community along with their commitment to sustainable development and social justice, the theme of this year’s Roundtable is on human values that fuel business values and create connection through a large sense of community. Through this effort, B Academics aims to showcase the dynamic research, teaching and engagement terrain, strengthen works in progress, and foster the generation of ideas and collaboration opportunities. Submit a proposal below to present as part of the teaching or research sessions.
Travel Fellowships
B Academics is pleased to announced 6 travel fellowships for participants who will be attending the 2022 B Academics Roundtable in person sponsored by DePaul University:
- 2 Research Fellowships of USD 750 each – Research Fellows will be selected from among those who have submitted research abstracts and have been selected to present at the Roundtable.
- 2 Teaching Fellowships of USD 750 each – Teaching Fellows will be selected from among those who have submitted teaching proposals and have been selected to present at the Roundtable.
- 2 Student Fellowships of USD 500 each – Students Fellows will be selected from among those who have completed the Student Fellow Submission
