Reflection on Our Evolution

In the ever-evolving field of business education, B Academics continues to lead the charge, fostering innovation and collaboration to transform business into a force for good. The newly released 2025 Impact Report highlights a year filled with milestones, underscoring our commitment to advancing sustainable business education on a global scale. Here are some key highlights from this year’s Impact Report:

• Expanded the Summer B Impact Teams Program: Successfully engaged 13 students globally, assisting four companies on their path toward B Corp certification.
• Strengthened Leadership & Governance: Welcomed strategic support from two Duke MBA students (Fuqua On Board program) to evaluate membership and fundraising, and appointed three new 2026 Board Members.
• Hosted the Annual Teaching Roundtable: Focused on “Navigating Disruption: Adapting B Corp Education Amidst Changing Standards, Policies, and Climate Realities.”
• Global Academic Presence: Convened our Research Roundtable and Professional Development Workshop at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark.
• Fostered Innovation & Strategy: Launched the development of our inaugural B Corp Case Competition (Spring 2026) and finalized a new five-year strategic plan in partnership with Paradox Consulting Partners.
• Enhanced Member Resources: Launched a new Academic Collaboration Board, introduced Membership Office Hours, and formalized the Research Reading Group.
• Community Growth: Engaged over 2,300 stakeholders through our newsletter, supported by 116 individual members and 11 institutional supporters.
• Operational Excellence: Achieved the 2025 Candid Platinum Certification for the second consecutive year, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to organizational transparency.
