What is the B Impact Team Program?

The B Academics Summer B Impact Teams program is a unique opportunity for students to learn about the B Corporation movement. B Corporations, or B Corps, are businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. In the Summer B Impact Teams Program, we’ll bring together students from around the world to form diverse teams and collaborate on consulting projects with companies focused on driving positive social and environmental impact using the B Impact Assessment as a roadmap.

The B Academics Summer B Impact Teams program is led by the team that runs the NC State B Corp Clinic, which has worked on over 100 B Impact Teams projects, including supporting 30 companies through B Corp certification and 6 companies through recertification.

Students will have the chance to apply their skills and knowledge to real-world challenges, gain practical experience, and make a difference in the business for good community and beyond. Companies will have an opportunity to accelerate their impact journey through working with a team of talented, passionate students.

Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent alumni from around the world are invited to participate as well as companies seeking to improve their impact.
